Meowsic Piano Studio by Renfrew area is looking for someone enthusiastic and fun to join our team of permanent piano instructors starting for Summer/September 2025. Successful candidates and those needing training sessions can begin promptly. We will be looking for a teacher who is genuinely interested in building a long-term role.

Job Type:
1) Permanent Weekly Teachers, must be available for at least 1 of the teaching days. Availability for more days is preferred.
2) Permanent Casual Substitutes

Days:
Permanent weekly teaching positions available for
Tuesday/Monday 3:00-8:00pm(In-Studio)
Adapted Music Teacher/Music Therapist - Flexible
in-home teacher  - Flexible


In-Studio Subsitutes:
Saturday 10:00-4:30pm 
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 3:30-8:00pm
On-call pick up shift


Candidate Requirements:

• have at least 1 year of experience teaching piano to children (at least 4 students) with reference
• Candidates that have experience for children with autism is encouraged to apply.
• must have High School Graduation and, having 2 of the following:
  • a minimum Grade 8 RCM Practical Piano Certification with Advance Rudiments
  • a music degree or music diploma from a recognized University or College
  • have previously prepared at least 3-4 students successfully for RCM Piano exam
  • at least 1 year of teaching experience with children and teens
  • have reference to at least 1 year of teaching experience with RCM syallbus in Piano/music therapy/interventions
  • have at least 1 year of experience teaching piano to children (at least 4 students) with reference

​Successful candidate will provide recent completion of criminal record check and documents/reference to qualifications.
